Which are the last news of the Flowersongs guys?
What did the Christmas Days bring us?

To the band seems that it has brought new guitar concepts, with more accuracy in the interpretations of the presentations and bringing the sonority of the melodies over like interpreting in the piano. Also there are new elements in percussion as the triangle, bongos or tubular bells.

Last weeks Ernest Margi is playing in the scenes of the Barcelona city jam-session and its surroundings. Also he's working in a new project with the frenchmen Julien Pouquet and Thierry Millet, the official drummer of Dagushi's 4 in 1, the band of the Japanese virtuous pianist koji Dagushi where Margi also is a habitual member. In spite of his tight schedule he had a moment to explain that all these new concepts in Flowersongs are happened after deep reflections about the former formations of the band, their actual sound today and a new evolution point. Also he has compromised for write an article about all this here in the blog in these days.

Toni Lledó is at present in Margi's house in Flix working in this new musical concepts and the new percussion elements, and you can listen Antonio Córdoba playing in duo with Joan Vilalta at the marimba every Monday in the latin jazz open-sessions in Bar Horus in Granollers, sessions where also you can see play Margi occasionally.

In the next weeks the band will at the studio for a new recording work, the first of this new formation in trio. Also bring out the video "how to make a Flowersongs theme" that you will find in several web channels.
